The current revision of the governing LCD. It added the Tibbe female external urinary device (A4318) to the Group 1 codes and revised the reasonable and necessary quantity language for female external urinary collection devices. Nothing in it touched A4297 or A4353.
It is recorded because a version number moving is not the same as a rule moving, and a reader who sees the LCD dated April 2026 should be able to find out which it was. The LCD notes that these revisions did not require notice and comment, being non-discretionary updates per CMS HCPCS coding determinations, and dates that note 04/09/2026.
