PayorTransparency

Why do the videos show Payer A and hidden numbers?

The videos use a demo workspace. Payers are shown as Payer A to G and rate figures are hidden, so no real rate appears in them.

Step by step

Before you start. The app videos in this knowledgebase are filmed on a demo workspace with fictional people and companies. Videos that show data carry the tag Illustrative data · payers anonymized above the window.

  1. Payers appear as Payer A to Payer G instead of their names.
  2. Rate figures in dollars or percent are hidden behind a blur or a plain bar.
  3. Band labels such as Within 3% and settings such as an alert threshold stay readable, because they are definitions, not rates.
  4. Plan prices match the Pricing page on payortransparency.com.
  5. Chat answers in the videos are scripted examples, rewritten without figures.
  6. Apart from payer names, buttons, tabs and labels are the app's own, so the steps match what you see. A few videos hide a line, or shorten a label or a sentence, that the step does not need.

What you see. In your own workspace, the app shows payer names and figures for the codes in your bundles.

Tip. The written steps never depend on a figure, so you can follow them in your own workspace exactly as written.
