What if I can't sign in or my invitation fails?
Use the address you signed up with and the newest code. Invitations last 14 days, work only for the invited address, and cannot join an account that already has a workspace.

Fix sign-in problems
Step by step
Before you start. Sign-in problems show as a short message on the sign-in card at app.payortransparency.app/sign-in.
- If it says Please sign in again., your session ended. Sign in as usual with Continue with email or Continue with Google.
- If Google sign-in did not complete, or the sign-in attempt expired, click Continue with Google again from the sign-in card.
- If the code is not right, check the email and type the 6 digits again. If the code has expired or was used up, the card goes back to the email step, so click Continue with email for a new code.
- To sign in with another address, click Use a different email under the code box.
- If it says too many attempts, or that sign-in is temporarily unavailable, wait a few minutes and try again.
- If it says your email address is not verified, contact support through payortransparency.com.
- If it says you no longer have access to this workspace, an owner removed you. Ask an owner to send you a new invitation, then open the new link and sign in with the invited address.
What you see. Once you are signed in, the app opens.
Tip. Sign in and Create account run the same steps, so Create one only changes the wording on the card.

Fix an invitation link
Step by step
Before you start. An invitation link opens the sign-in card with a note naming the workspace and a masked copy of the invited address. Each link works for 14 days and only for that address.
- If the card says the invitation link is invalid or has expired, ask your teammate for a new invitation.
- Open the whole link in one piece. A link cut short when it was copied also reads as invalid.
- If it says the invitation was sent to a different email address, open the invitation link again and sign in with exactly the invited address.
- If Team opens with a note that you are already part of a workspace, the invitation was not applied. An account belongs to one organization, and the app cannot move it to another, so contact support through payortransparency.com.
- If you are the owner, open Team and look under Invitations. For an expired one, invite the address again with Invite a teammate. For a lost link, click Resend email, or click Revoke and invite again. For a wrong address, click Revoke and invite the right one.
What you see. With a working link and the invited address, sign-in adds you to the workspace.
Tip. Sign in for the first time from the invitation link. Signing in without it creates a workspace of your own, and later invitations are then not applied.
