Why is a state, payer or month missing?

Menus list only places with filed rates, payers appear only where they filed, and trends need two months of data.

Find missing states, payers or months

Step by step

Before you start. The Rates board shows what payers filed in the latest loaded month, for the codes in your bundles.

  1. Open State on the Rates tab. It lists National and only the US states where payers filed rates for your codes in the latest month, so a state with no filings that month is left out.
  2. Pick National to see rates for the whole country instead of one state. If it says National figures for this month arrive with the next monthly load, that month's national figures are not loaded yet.
  3. A payer has fewer rows when it filed only some of your codes in that place. A code it did not file has no row for that payer.
  4. A payer with no rates loaded for a month has no rows that month. A row's MoM shows a dash when that payer has no figure for the month before.
  5. MoM needs two loaded months. With one, the board footer says MoM needs two loaded months, and Analysis says month-over-month needs two loaded months.
  6. On a code page, Month lists each loaded month, newest first. A month that is not loaded yet is not in the list.
  7. Codes outside your bundles never show as rows. Look for their bundle under Not in your bundles below the table.

What you see. The Data through line at the top of Rate Watch names the newest loaded month.

Tip. Rates stop at state level, so there is no county, city or ZIP view.
