Ask Chat (called Payer Analyst on our website) about rates in plain words, read and reshape the answer, follow up, and keep what you find.
Each question below opens a guide with its short videos, the written steps for every screen and the full narration, so you can follow along with the app open beside it. The numbers in the videos are illustrative and the payers are anonymized.
How do I ask a question about rates?
Type your question in Chat or in the box on Home and press Enter. Chips start a sentence for you, and Ask on a code page asks about one payer.

How do I read Chat's answer?
The Direct answer names who pays most and least against Medicare, with four tiles and a standings table. The chart below shows each payer's range, and dotted terms have definitions.

How do I copy or download an answer's numbers?
Switch the chart card to Table, then click Copy table to paste the rows into a spreadsheet, or CSV to download them.

How do I ask a follow-up?
Type in the box at the bottom of the conversation, or click a Refine suggestion under the last answer and edit it. The answer appears under the previous one.

How do I save an answer?
Save insight keeps one answer, frozen, as a brief under Saved in the Insights Library. Save to research keeps the whole conversation.

How do I share an answer or a chat?
Share copies a read-only link to one answer that works for 30 days. Shared with team lets your teammates read the whole conversation.

Who can see my chats and briefs?
Chats and saved answers are private to you until you switch them to Shared with team. Generated briefs start shared, and a share link opens one answer for 30 days.

How do I find, rename or remove a conversation?
The Conversations list on the left of Chat holds every chat. Search it, start a new one, or use the menu on a row to rename, pin, archive or remove it.

Can I delete a chat or a brief?
No. Remove takes a chat off your list and Private hides a brief from your team, but the app has no permanent delete.

Why won't Chat give me a rate for some codes?
The code is outside your workspace's bundles. Chat shows which payers publish it but no figures, and an owner can add the bundle that unlocks it.
